Where to even begin? I’m still alive, dear friends! Life is certainly full of ups and downs and twists and turns. Lately I’ve been experiencing them all and enjoying the things in life that important while trying to figure out the next move.
But rather than let life get in the way too much, I thought what better time to come back to this space than Roid Week! I will be sharing some instant images that I’ve shot in the past few months, plus some that I’ve held off from sharing from Instant Love.
I’ve got some big changes happening again in my life soon but more on that later. Hopefully, I will be able to share some new images from my latest toy with you soon.
Happy Roid Week!
Are you joining in on all the fun?
Check out the awesome Ann McGarry’s Roid Week flashback. Queen of the Spectra.
Of course, Roid Week would be the perfect time to buy a Polaroid camera to bring with you to our Instant Love retreat in Marrakesh. There are still a handful of spots available.
Summer is the perfect time to shoot Polaroids. Lots of outdoor festivities and gorgeous evening light!
Happy Roid Week from @mandaroid!
Last week I asked you to share some of your favourite Polaroids with me. This blog is all about finding inspiration and making our everyday lives as creative as possible. I think it’s really important to celebrate the creativity in others and to share new discoveries made. So today I am sharing some of your great work! There are a lot so click the “more below” link to see the rest.
more beautiful polaroids
Have you been enjoying Roid Week? There have been some amazing Polaroids in the pool this week and I have found myself some new contacts to follow which is always a bonus of Roid Week. My polas were a mixed bag, using Polaroid 600 film and Polaroid Artistic TZ film. There are a few more over at Flickr and I may even throw up another one before the day is done.
I’d love to see some of your Polaroids and instant pictures from the week. Leave a link to a favourite Polaroid from your stream in the comments and I will share some of them here next week!
Have a great Halloween, kids!
I’m gearing up for Roid Week next week ( Mon 1st to Fri 5th ) and getting the lollies ready for the building kids who may pop by on Sunday. No pumpkin carving for me this year, a little more relaxed but hopefully still full of colour and a little spookiness.
If you aren’t taking part in Roid Week this time around, still check out the flickr pool as there are bound to be some wonderful, Polaroid delights.
I hope you have a great weekend!
In my returning to Sydney discoveries, I’m loving:
- Children’s store Seed now has a women’s range- gorgeous clothing and accessories!
- Gorgeous homeware stores in close by suburbs.
- Latest Frankie and Real Living magazines by my bed.
- Peter Alexander’s new range in store.
- Magnation store in Newtown.
- Crust pizza (nothing new- just loving it once more).
- Kinokuniya now selling Japanese masking tapes and ribbons.
- Wearing Havaianas while everyone is complaining about being cold- for once I’m not the one feeling the cold!
- Spending time with the one with the cupcake.
What are you loving at the moment?
