TWELVE: MAY | Mocking Bird

Hello friends!

May crept up on me so quickly this year and I’m sneaking in here on the weekend to announce the new theme for Twelve. April was bursting with so many beautiful blooms and blossoms. It was truly a beautiful treat to wander through the pool. I need to do a double whammy of photo samplings to share with you from March and April.

This month’s theme may scare some people, but I hope it doesn’t scare you away all together! I encourage you to be brave and to look inside yourselves for this month…

The theme for May is: Self

May Colour Inspiration: Green and all its shades

Self is all about you! Shoot a selfie mirror reflection, a self timer shot with a loved one, your hands, in the reflection of a store window, your feet, your eyes, with a remote, hand held… Be brave and show us beautiful you!

Do selfies scare you? Or are you an old hat like me? But more importantly, did you watch the Royal wedding?

I watched the Wedding with my parents, who were visiting. We realised that Dad was the true romantic in the room, while Mum and I exchanged tidbits of into we’d read in the paper. I thought the dress was gorgeous, and all the royal family interaction kind of cute and hilarious. Was especially impressed with how excited people seemed on the streets, and how well the movement of the huge crowds toward the palace was handled.

Self portraits scare me, but I’ll definitely try to shoot one this month – whether I’m keen on sharing it will be another matter! :)

oh of course i watched the royal wedding, it was great… i live in lisbon and though i was not that excited until the big day, i knew that i wanted to see everything! i love these celebrations and i thought that kate was really beautiful and elegant… and pippa was amazing! really the most wanted bachelorette of the moment!!! concerning the twelve project, i will try to do it! ;) hugs, twiggs
