In Vancouver… Newsagents don’t exist- you get your newspapers, magazines, greeting cards, wrapping paper and stationery in separate stores. I always think that all photographs would look better taken with a Polaroid. The Canadian chose particular Christmas presents for me because he not only thought I’d like them but also because he thought I’d like to photograph them. I heart him. My wanderlust for travel is biting me hard right now.
