And as the sun decides to come out, my little photo shoot ends. I must get better at predicting this Vancouver weather.
I’m not ready to share my place with you yet, but I thought I’d share some of the little details I have sprinkled around.
The first shot may well be one of my favourite things ever. It’s a turquoise soap dish that I found at Anthropologie ( have I caught on that I am kind of obsessed yet?) and I of course had it in the bathroom looking gorgeous. However I’m currently using it as a jewellery holder on my bedside. I love waking up and looking at its prettiness.
I am presently obsessed with wooden and wire things on white. I love the clean lines against the texture of the wood. A wire basket to hold papers on my desk with my Lettergirl stamp which I use on all my print store shipments, plus an ink fountain pen from Italy given to me by The Canadian.
The last is part of Sean’s McSweeney’s collection. He is quite the bookworm to say the least and this is the first time I’ve really seen all his books together in one place. They take up a whole wall in our study. I love that I now have an inbuilt library and won’t need to be buying any novels for a while!
** White and wooden kitchen gorgeousness
** Gorgeous photography from Olga Bennett
** The Autumn issue of Small Magazine is out now
** Loving this gorgeous blog Eat Drink Chic

these are such lovely photos!
i wish i could afford anthropologie, they have such beautiful things but i just can’t spend that much money while i’m in college unfortunately :(
Thanks Sara. :)
Yes, I know what you mean. I do find their homewares to be far more reasonably priced than their clothing though. You can pick up little housey things for not too much. I’ve literally only been in the stores like 8 times as we don’t have one in Vancouver. I’d probably go broke if we did!
These are such gorgeous shots!
I really do love, love the soap dish!
these are so pretty! and those books are gorgeous, i’m such a sucker for pretty covers…
Thanks for commenting Lisa and Andrea.
Yes Andrea, McSweeney’s really make an effort to make their covers and artwork really fabulous.
