Artful Blogging on Film

Yes, I’ve already talked about being published in Artful Blogging, but I wanted to share some pictures I took of my article in the magazine. I didn’t actually have a copy of my own when I shared the news, so it’s pretty awesome to actually have it in my hands.

There are some gorgeous other blogs in this season’s issue and I am honoured to be amongst them. Check out these creative blogs.

  4. It’s such a beautiful article! It makes me so happy when bloggers that I already love pop up in Artful Blogging – it’s such an inspiring magazine. My banner was featured last year and I dream of having an article someday. Your blog is gorgeous and you absolutely deserve the recognition. Congrats again!

  5. oooh i just love how your photos look a little vintage a little nostalgic – so beautiful… maybe you could put some of the photo info underneath (at least in tiny little print?) :)

  6. Alli, I think they take submissions- you should submit! Jennifer contacted me but I was allowed to pitch my own ideas about the article and it was lots of fun discussing what the content of the piece was going to be.

    Thanks lovely Alex. xx

State of Sunday…I usually do write what camera and film I use, not sure why I didn’t on this post.
Are you talking more about settings though? These shots were taken with a Yashica FX3 film SLR camera. I used Kodak Portra 160NC film (my favourite). It was shot with a 50mm lens and prolly at 2.8- I don’t remember what the shutter speed was. It’s a fully manual camera.

  7. Funnyy, I just started following your blog after I saw it in that magazine! Basically, I’M OBSESSED. haah we have many similaries & i loveee all your pictures!
