Mocking Bird 1st Birthday

Even though I’ve been blogging for many years, today marks the first birthday of this here blog!

I could never have imagined that Mocking Bird would have brought me so many wonderful interactions with new friends and offered me new opportunities like it has. To celebrate this mini milestone, I would like to share some pressies with you for supporting me on this little journey.

I am giving away one of my Cherry Blossom Polaroid prints (shown above), a set of note cards and another little surprise. If you would like to receive a little thank you package, leave a comment below and I will choose someone from the list of comments.

This 6″ x 6″ print is a lustre matte, bordered print made from an original Polaroid which was taken with a vintage Polaroid SX70 camera. The image itself is 6″ x 6″ however with the border it is 8″ x 8″ inches in size.

I am offering this now, however I won’t be able to post it out until I get back to Vancouver in about 10 days. I’ll leave the comments open until the weekend. :)

  13. Congrats Amanda! That’s very cool that Mocking Bird is a whole year old. I must say that this site has definitely been an inspiration. I think I first saw your images on flickr by accident and then started reading the blog about 9 months ago. This inspired me to look at other amazing polaroid photographers and set alight the little growing desire to buy my own. I finally got my beautiful sx-70 on etsy and have just started playing with ATZ from the impossible project. i’m still very new to it and have a lot to learn. i can’t say thanks enough for the inspiring posts. Nic :-)
