Oh Roid Week, How I Love Thee

Polaroid lovers get a little giddy this time of year with Spring Roid Week upon us again.
This Roid Week I am looking through my Polaroid camera with new eyes. I am seeing my hometown with a fresh light and it’s actually very exciting. To be able to see newness in something that I know like the back of my hand has me wanting to get out there and re-experience this fabulous city.
Of course, my first Roid Week shots are an illustration of some of my favourite things… my muse & sister, chocolate sprinkled cappuccinos, Sydney sunshine and purty cupcakes.

this is my first time participating in ‘Roid Week and I am so excited because I just acquired my SX70 & Sonar this year and I can’t wait to explore with them!

i love all the polas…i do. so beautiful
i will play along on my fuji as i do not have a pola or the lovely film.
My polaroid film should be here sometime this week! I hope it arrives before friday and I can contribute something to Roid Week! (which is even more exciting because they will be my first pola shots ever!).
Hope you’re having a fabulous time in Sydney! I’m off to enjoy my very last night in Montreal.
P.S. Did I mention I’m moving to Vancouver later this summer? Browsing your shots has really got me excited to explore the city.
