Way back in the early 00′s, my first endeavours online were scattered between building dodgy geocities sites about my travels to chase U2 all over the UK and Ireland and starting up my first ever photoblog.
I came across photoblogs by people like Alison, Myla, Dawn, Lynn and Lorissa and figured it was a great way to share my photographs, so I set up my own. I soon became friends with other Sydney and Aussie photobloggers and really got into the world of blogging, soon writing my own personal blog as well as posting my pictures on my photoblog daily.
Today my blog is very different, my “daily photoblog” is well and truly on hiatus and my tastes in photography have changed but I still love looking at other people’s photoblogs on a daily basis. So to end off this photography inspired week, I thought I would share a few of my favourites with you. These are people who share their own photography.
Johanna Wallin :: A Girl and her Polaroid :: Little Circus :: No Traces :: The Blue Hour :: Irene Nam :: ungtblod :: Pictures and Pancakes :: From Me To You :: Petits Bonheurs :: Fine Little Day :: Bloom, Grow, Love :: This Is Naive :: Little Postcards :: Sophik :: The Baker’s Daughter ::
If you are thinking about setting up a photoblog, it’s not that tricky. I’d be happy to do a post on how you would go about setting up a blog if that’s something you are interested in- although I know a lot of you that do come visit my little corner of the world are well and truly blog savvy already.
Check out the Photoblogs Hall of Fame for long time photoblogger people.

Well, I stopped doing it a while back.
I actually was more known online for my photoblog. Seems Mocking Bird has taken over!

and you know how much I love your work too. xoxo
thanks for pointing out some neat “places.” after a few years of following different photoblogs i only recently started one of my own. sometimes it seems like a crazy endeavor, but it’s fun. i only came across Mocking Bird recently, and i enjoy your posts and your photography (especially the wintery ones from a little while back) cheers!
I would love to know more about creating a photoblog :)
thanks for sharing these links Amanda. I’ve always tried to keep an updated list of photographer/photoblogger websites ever since I started photography almost 10 years ago and began photoblogging shortly after.
I’m new to the blogging world and timidly started my own blog in the past few weeks in an attempt to challenge myself artistically and break out of my shell a bit. Your blog has been inspiring and you articles are a wealth of knowledge for me. Any insight you could share on starting a photoblog would be fantastic. :-)
