Dottie, I think I will have to try the ride and shoot! My boyfriend and I have been talking about getting bikes!
Thanks Pearl!
Thanks Alexandria. haha I know the feeling, it's always a gamble with the holga.
Rebekka, I wish I could take credit for that haha
Lili, thanks love. You should definitely come up. It's very pretty at the moment.
Line, it was actually a bit too strong for my liking. It looked better than it tasted hehe

I love the soft tones in these photos. I should definitely wander around neighborhoods more often, especially now that Spring is rearing its pretty face. I can't say it enough but the next time I got to Seattle I most definitely have to make it a point to stop in Vancouver. I can't believe I failed to do so last time (couldn't find my passport last minute).

These have such a great relaxed quality to them. I love walking around and the other day did so with my holga. Fingers crossed some turned out. I find out tomorrow when the film comes back.

Lovely collection of photographs. My favorite is the one with the accidental focusing, so sweet.

Photo walks (and bike rides) are a great way to get to know my city better, clear my head and appreciate life's details. For free entertainment, it can't be beat. I live in Chicago, a perfect city for such neighborhood wanderings, as Lauren B mentioned above.

Vivienne, I always find something new each time I go. We have friends that live there and I'm often at Lens and Shutter too, so it's somewhere that I am a lot.

Nik, doesn't it look delicious? You can't really tell in the picture but those bread baskets have sesame seeds all over the handles hehe
