I’ve always wondered what it would be like to live in a place that hosted the Olympics! Have you gotten to see any events yet?
Cassie, I’m very lucky that I have lived in 2 Olympic cities (Sydney and Vancouver) and it’s pretty amazing. Your city turns into a 2 week long party. The atmosphere is just amazing with all the people from all over the world walking around. I will likely write more about it in the coming weeks.
We haven’t been to any events yet but will be going to some later this week. :)

I know this is really lame, but I think I was most excited by your mention of Stephen Colbert. Don’t know if you know, but they play his show on weeknights (ABC2) now…! Hope you enjoy soaking up the Olympic spirit!!
