Thankful

Over the past few days, I have been astounded at the wealth of generosity shown to me in this little blogging and photography pocket of the world. To all of you who have offered me help to track down some of the precious Polaroid film, I thank you from the bottom of my instant shoot loving heart.

I have no real agenda or plan for this morning’s post, other than to tell you about a few things I’ve enjoyed this week. Firstly, I’d like to share with you an interview I did with the lovely Catherine of Paris Images. Catherine is sharing an ongoing project about home and everyday life. Through her travels, Catherine has found herself to be curious about the everyday lives of the people she meets along the way and has started this project to illustrate her findings.

I was lucky enough to be interviewed for the project and I hope you pop over to the beautiful blog, Paris Images to read more about it. It’s a topic that had me intrigued right away as I often shoot things in my life and around my home. Go check it out.

Another piece of happiness is the kick off of Blog It Forward which started yesterday. Did you read their inspiration posts? I loved seeing a sneaky peak into Susannah’s home and reading about how colour inspires Hula through ever facet of her life. I am lucky enough to be one of the blogs on the list and my post will be coming up next week. I’m already thinking of ways to share with you.

To finish off the week, I have a fantastic ‘What’s In Your Kit?’ interview coming up. You will love his film camera work- that’s a clue!

  1. I am looking forward to stealing a few sneaky hours to myself next week and reading through the inspiring posts from Blog It Forward. Hubby and the little one are going away for three days {and I already miss them – and they haven’t left yet!} so I am going to catch up on everything I usually miss out on {watching my shows, sleeping, and quiet!}.

I am so glad that people have been able to help you out with your film hunt. If there is anything I can do from my end in Sydney, just ask please!

I love your kit interviews. Looking forward to reading a new one today. xx

  2. what a lovely image. :) and you actually brought it to MY attention that many places are now out of stock! i am so hoping for good news with the impossible project soon, but not sure about that. for now, i am definitely trying to shoot less polaroids!!

  3. Yes, Chantelle, I’ve enjoyed the ones I’ve read so far. Aw, try and enjoy your alone time. Thanks for the offer of help, dear! You’re a doll. xx

Thanks Susan. Yes hold onto them, it’s getting more and more scarce.
