Welcome to Canada! We just came back from Ikea with our real tree. Love the scent and love the price ($20)!

Amanda, your photos are lovely. I'm happy to have found your blog.

I always have a real tree. Once a year, it is worth all the trouble.

My family has only ever had a plastic Christmas tree. In fact, we used the same tree every Christmas since before I was born but had to replace it last year because it was so naked!

I would love to have a real Christmas tree but they're not easy to get where I am. I'm quite attached to the plastic one though, the same tree each year, there's something special about that. :)

oh the tree choices, that was the best thing about spending Christmas time in Germany.
My family always get a real tree and living in sunny Brisbane, we wait till round the 22nd/23rd so it is nice and fresh still.
This year in my little house, I have a small pink tinsel tree on my computer desk...

Linda, your blog is lovely!
Katrina, that's the part I hate the most. I hate seeing dead trees just tossed out on the road. It's horrible.

Yes, our apartment in Sydney wasn't huge but I was determined to get a real tree in there. It was a pain in the butt lol

Chantelle, the wreaths are so gorgeous and they had swags with real berries that you just hang on a door. So pretty!

That sounds like such fun!

Our house {apartment} is so small we have a tree that we just pull out of the box, and it's assembled. I dream about big Christmas trees like I used to have as a kid.

We had a real tree once and the smell was amazing. I'd love a real wreath. How cool is that!

Enjoy it all, and of course we await photos. xx
