Thank you Flickr | Mocking Bird

I wanted to take a moment to sing the praises of Flickr and the people within it. I just hit a little milestone with my flickr account and as silly as it seems to even talk about, it does mean something to me.

Flickr has been such an inspiration for me over the past few years. I have made some amazing friends, some of whom I’ve met, some of whom I’m yet to meet. From book publications to discovering a whole new world of cameras I didn’t even know existed, it has been such a great influence on my creative life.

I really don’t have a bad thing to ever say about Flickr. The people behind it do a fantastic job and it continually surprises me at how addicted I am to it. If you don’t have a flickr account, I say, get there now and start sharing your photography love with the world. You never know what may come of it.

Thank you for all the love and support, flickr people. I’m giving you a big ole hug! You constantly amaze me.

I super duper agree with you. In fact, I’ve been sliding a lot lately on my Flickr time… I need to get back to it. That absence might account for the tiny empty feeling that’s nagging me.

I just found your blog via Pia´s, and I just had to tell you that your post today made me smile. I don´t really know why other than it is so true that life is full of unexpected happinesses;)
And while reading your post about Flicker, I was reminded of the beauty of what lies around the corner.
