and this list is going to get bigger.

Obviously I will miss my family, dog and friends a lot greater than all those things. I wonder what I’m going to love about Vancouver.

p.s. Polaroid Notes are now available on Amazon (I just ordered some), Barnes and Noble, Borders, Urban Outfitters and Fredflare. Woo!

I’ve never been to Sydney, but I absolutely love Vancouver! My husband and I daydream about moving there all the time. I’m sure you’ll find lots to love about it :)

  2. I lived in Vancouver for a year, and honestly, there are so many things to love. I’ve been to Sydney too and Vancouver is just as special. And, I think Max Brenner is international – I’m sure I’ve seen one in New York at least! Good luck for the move!

  3. PS you could try this as a substitute – it’s years since I have been though! http://www.vancouver.suttonplace.com/Chocoholic_Buffet.htm

I’ve been to both Sydney and Vancouver…and both places are lovely. Both are near the sea, so they have that something special that places-next-to-the-Pacific do. I do believe that over time, you will grow to love Vancouver too.

It is always hard to leave. Your feelings sound perfectly normal. But once you get there, there will be plenty to explore and discover. And though I’ve never been there (but dream to go …), Vancouver is always said to be a great place to live. A kind of new start in life may be a nice time to move forward …

Something I miss living in Glebe is something I didn’t notice till I went back last month. The smell of the sea! It’s fresh and bracing and is always there. You don’t notice it until you leave and almost forget it until you are reminded.

Loving the Vancouver pics Amanda. I feel a sense of missing Sydney akin to mine when I read your entries and look at your images.
