Moving Hell

I‘m currently posting from what used to be my brother’s old bedroom with much of Sean’s and my apartment sitting in it. I have boxes of Polaroids and prints sitting waiting to be opened, a desk drawer filled with underwear and the current issue of Frankie waiting for me to read.

We had a hell of a weekend packing, moving and cleaning to finish with handing over the keys to our apartment this evening. After the madness was all over, The Canadian and I sat in the car wondering what to do with ourselves. Our life has been crazy for the last 2 months and now we have 3 weeks of waiting to leave.

In the last few days some lovely packages have arrived, including my artist copy of Polaroid Notes! I can’t wait to snap some shots to share with you.  OK, I’m off to check my Google Reader to see what I’ve missed in blogland. I hope your weekend was a good one. What did you get up to?

  1. Wow! Sounds like you have been going through a crazy transition period! These in-between times are often the hardest, aren’t they? I wish you the best and hope things will go smoothly for you over these next weeks…

  2. Moving is never fun, it’s so stressfull in so many ways. And yet, at the same time, I have some really good memories of funny things that happened during a move, or once I’ve moved and am settling in. My best wishes and good luck to you during your moving time!

  3. Ugh. Moving & transitions & suitcase-living are no fun. But the part I love is when you finally step foot in the new place and make it your Home all over again…. xoxo!
