Saturday 4 December, TWO of my dreams actually came true.

Firstly my rock photographer idol, Tony Mott got in contact with me after seeing my website and hooked me up with my first ever Press Pass for Homebake!
I actually got to meet the legend himself and spent part of my day talking with him about rock bands, shooting rock stars and music festivals. I was in my element. I was given the title of his “assistant” for the day which thrilled me like you wouldn’t believe.

After being rather nervous for the initial meeting( he is one of my heroes afterall), we chatted about all sorts of things and Mr Mott escorted me into the photographer’s pit at the Main Stage where Gyroscope were playing. THe first time in there was an absolute rush and I LOVED every minute!!! It was incredible, with the crowd behind you and the band in front..the power of the music blasting from the speakers, the rockstars posing on stage in front of you, and then being able to watch Mr Mott do his thing, was quite incredible.

The highlight apart from meeting Tony himself, was when I somehow made my way onto stage taking pics of Machine Gun Fellatio and then speaking to Quan from Reguritator ACCIDENTLY, backstage.

I will continue with more of that story tomorrow…now I’m absolutely zoned.
I also had some absolutely amazing news on that very day….

My beautiful Sean has booked a ticket to Sydney and he will be here in 10 sleeps!!!!
THAT news is far more exciting than any press pass and I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep for the next 2 weeks! He arrives Thursday 16th and will stay till the 10 Jan!

If anyone has any accomodation ideas, please let us know, its getting pretty late and lots of places are booked solid!

I can’t take anymore, this has been the most exciting weekend I have ever had!!!
